If you're like most American households, your household watches more than 8 hours of TV a day. If you live alone it is estimated that you see more than 4 1 / 2 hours of TV a day. Yes we Americans love TV and studies show it will not slow down soon. So what will happen to my old TV will still work after 2-17-2009?

Do I have a Analog TV set and what happens after 2-17-2009?

Analog TV will end the day occurred on 2-17-2009. This is the FCC has the authority that all broadcast TV stations stop sending out analog signals through the air. So what does this mean for me that has long defined Analog 10 years ago? Or the number 2 or 3 analogue TV in another house. First you may ask yourself - what is Analog TV? And, if I have one? If still get TV programs from rabbit ears you have the size of Analog. If you are using a cable or satellite and have what is called a 4:3 TV (the TV square), you are likely to Analog TV.
